Hi Everyone,

We have a workflow to process a simple approval task using the "Flexi Task".

In the Flexi Task, the use will receive a email notification which contain most of the decision making information.

So, user would like to perform the approval ("Approve", "Reject" or "Return") in email by clicking a button or link(represented by a hyperlink).

We know the Outlook has the integration for that, but our customer does not using it. Can anyone give me a hits to implement the link for the requirement?

PS: I do tried the "{Common:Approve}" and "{Common:Reject}" but it can only apply to the "Request Approval"

in the Assigned Flexi Task you should be able to add an "Approval URL" that will take them Sharepoint so they can indicate their selection

In the body of the email notification part where the directions are given.

1. Insert Reference

2. on the Common Tab,  select Approval URL

When the individual receives the email notification regarding the task, there will appear a url for them to click and take them to the page where they can indicate their decision.

Hopefully I understood your question and this helps 🙂

Hi ltooks,

Thanks for your response. I tried this out-of-the-box-function already. However, it can only take the user back to the SharePoint instead of sending an approval action (should be the "Decision" value) back to the SharePoint.

Since I remember in previous version, we can implement a URL in the email body to allow the use make the decision in the email. However, I don't have any records keep in my PC.
