Hello Everyone,

Whenr restarting the K2.net 2003 service I am always receiving this error:

"Could not start the K2.net Server service on Local Computer
error 1069: the service did not start due to a logon failure"

This can be resolve by retyping the password again. What I want here is a permanent fix. Would anyone know how to do it?

That sounds vaguely familar.  Could you check the local policies to see if this service account has Log on as a Service rights and also that it is not listed under the Deny log on as a service policy?

Thanks for the reply. I have checked the local policies and it has the correct configuration. Account is registered under "Log on as a service" and it is not listed in the "Deny log".

 Anymore ideas?

Hmm, other than that.  I don't recall anything else that might cause a service account password to disappear.

Just to verify, the account isn't locked out right?  i.e. you can log onto the server with this account.
