Copy Document Event and SmartObject failing after upgrade to 4.6.10
 

Diagnoses

I have a workflow that was using a SharePoint document event to copy a document. It was working before I upgraded to 4.6.10 (was on 4.6.8). Then it started getting a null reference error. To resolve that, I switched to using SharePoint Content SmartObjects. Those work perfectly on my dev and staging environments. But it is timing-out on production and giving me an error.
 

Resolution

When attempting to use a Smartobject of the Sharepoint content broker to copy the document, we were experiencing the Sharepoint list view threshold limit. As such we reverted back to using the Sharepoint Document > Copy Event by enabling "Preserve Metadata" the copy event now executes successfully. This ticket was associated with the corresponding bug to the addressed in a future update.
