Hello,

Environment: SharePoint 2013

My Issue: I have a requirement that says once a Word document has been uploaded into a document set in SharePoint 2013, then I need to convert that to a PDF and place that in the same document set. I have tried creating a "Save as PDF" advanced webpart in which I'm utilizing the "Create from URL" method to create the PDF. When I add in all of the parameteres, it will return a blank, one page PDF in the "PDF File" smartobject.

What do I need to do to get convert my SharePoint 2013 Word document to a PDF?

The "Create from HTML" works fine and "Create from URL" works when not specifiying a Word document. I'm assuming maybe something with the Office Web App (OWA) is interfering? Is there a workaround? Is there a possiblity of converting the word doc to HTML and just using the "Create from HTML"?

P.S. I'm using K2 for SharePoint Visual Studio to develop this workflow.

Have you looked at the Word Documents Event wizard?

From my understanding Word Document Event Wizard is only available on SP2007 & SP2010.
