Symptoms
At design time, when checking the checkbox for "Cache the data" for the SmartObject data source on an autocomplete control, the check box is not checked the next time the configuration is accessed.
Diagnoses
The autocomplete control does not implement the "Cache the Data" option.
Resolution
This was logged as a bug, which has been resolved in Appit for SharePoint 1.4 and K2 blackpearl 4.7, which is now available.
