In some phases of the business process the person in charge of the current task has a set of options among which he/she can choose to have the process to be continued. K2.net is most suitable for conditional branching based on inputs from an earlier Activity step. As a simple example, a manager may approve/reject a Leave Request, the Line Rules can be used to control which next Activity step to branch to, depending on the "ManagerDecision" field in the earlier step.
