Hi,

I use a FlexiTask in an Approval Workflow. When the Approver approves the task I use a Build String Action ({Common:AllApproverComments} to store the comments in a Variable called storeComments.

I then use a set Field Value to set the Comment field with the storeComments variable.

I can see the Comment when I open the list item. However when I edit the item and save it the Comment field is empty.

My Comment field is connected to a Multiline Text List Column.

Any idea why this is happening?

Many thanks

when you open an item in EDIT can you see comment control populated or is it already empty?

don't you have two (or more) form controls connected to that same comment list field?

can you post configuration of your comment list field and comment form control?

Did you make any progress on this?

Link to post - I had a similar issue and  had to change my form variable status to Recalculate formula on edit mode = No.

No resolution yet. I logged a call with Nintex. Busy looking at it.

Hi

I'm not sure if an issues I'm having with a flexi-task is similar. With mine, the workflow sends the tasks to multiple approvers in parallel and their comments in the flexi task form are linked directly to list columns with their job title (e.g., team leader comments). When the email notification goes back to the submitter, my comments show (I have owner rights) but the comments from the other approvers don't (they have read only rights to the list item but are task assignees). I can't see the comments from other approvers in the list but I could dig them out from workflow tasks. I searched and it looks like I could try reconfiguring to use a query list approach to putting the comments into variables stored against the task ID but that would take quite a bit and I'm not sure if it would work. Another option could be to see if giving reviewers contribute rights to the workflow tasks list would work. Can anyone help with this please (sorry if I haven't explained well, new to this forum!)

please create new question, it's a different problem.
