Is it possible to setup the K2 workspace to use claims authentication?
According to the availible documents, all that is exposed is SQL membership or windows authentication.
Does anyone know of something different, and hopefully some documentation.

Unfortunatley, the answer for the time being is no. Workspace and it's management pages were designed and implemented long before claims auth was really a thing. There is a rework of these management pages in the works, which of course, will be released both Soon(tm) and WhenIt'sDone(tm).
