Checkbox list having trouble handling more than ~ 12 to 14 items checked
 

Diagnoses

We are having a strange problem with a checkbox list. It has always worked well up until last week when we upgraded our K2 Blackpearl Server is now 4.6.9 (4.12060.1640.1).

When a user checks small number of items in the checkbox list, then go to the next screen (there are a couple of save and delete functions performed underneath), everything works as normal with no error messages.

But when somebody checks more than ~12 items on the checkbox list and go to the next screen, there's often (inconsistently) an error message appearing, with a message saying the ID's in the checkbox list we not obtained for items, therefore either "save" or "delete" function would fail for the smart object that is attached to the form/view.





 

Resolution


Sent John the SmartForms rollup cold fix delivered from our Labs team. After implementing the patch, John indicated that is now working normally.
