Looking to check-out a document when the form opens and check-in when the form closes. I can't imagine any other way than JavaScript. Does anyone have the code available?

I know this is possible using REST, but I could see a number of race condition problems that could occur from concurrent users interacting with your form simultaneously. Perhaps there's a better approach if you could elaborate on the problem you're trying to solve?
