Good day All!
I hope someone can shed some light. I previously used cascading lookups in repeating section , works fantastically! then we installed an update, the release that added Line item attachments inside repeating sections which I was very much looking forward to. 
My problem is since we installed this update I am no longer able to filter Lookups inside my repeating section, as in the Filter option has completely disappeared! this makes no sense and I was hoping someone could help me, I am Using responsive forms.

We are using Nintex 2016 with SharePoint on-Prem 2016. Forms and WF version: 4.3.1.1.

That's super strange. 

I'm using version 4.3.0.1 and version 4.3.3.0, and neither of them show that particular issue, so I wonder if it isn't just an issue with that particular ver. Nothing in the update logs indicates that it was bug that was fixed though (after your version), so... 

Because you're on 2016 you can use Chrome in your Form Dev environment. If you press F12 and look for errors when you attempt to enter the Form Editor or when you open the Lookup Control Settings, it might provide some additional insight if there is something that is happening in the background, but of course, that's just speculation. 

Is it possible to upgrade a test environment to see if the issue persists? 

Configure everything outside of your repeating section, then add them in.
