We have a capital process which is failing on submission of new items. This previously worked without issue.

The following is generated in the HostServer log. Howerver none of the GUID's below appear to reference any of the GUIDs in the SmartObject Test tool. From here I dont know where to look to debug.

I've redeployed the workflow and attempted to refresh SMO's used in the workflow to no avail.

Stranger still, is that occasionally when the instance is not the latest submitted I can resubmit and the document will progress. This unfortunately doesn't always work..

Resolution

Read method used in Workflow was returning no value which results in the referenced error
