Symptoms

Cannot use anything other than plain datafields in the AD User wizard

Diagnoses

YOU cannot drag and drop data fields from anything other than "plain" datafields into the AD User wizard.

For example: I have an item reference to a SmartObject that stores data for a new user I want to create. However, the AD Wizard to create a new user does nto allow you to drag and drop anything other than plain datafields - you cannot drag and drop values form the item reference (or a manual reference for that matter).

Of course a workaround would be to save every single field into process datafields, but that is not the point. There is no reason why this wizard should be preventing you from dropping fields from an Item reference.

I have checked the following:
1) the data field types in the SMO are valid (text fields)
2) you cannot drag any of the field from the item reference over
3) manually defining a reference in K2 studio does not work
4) you can drag normal datafields
5) you can drop field from a SmartObject by browsing to the SmartObject (which requires a painful and unnecessary call to the load method for every single property you want to map)
