Symptoms
Cannot Register K2 App for Sharepoint After Upgrading to 4.6.10.
App registration error on SharePoint Service Broker stage:
Error refreshing Service Instance '[service instance]'. Service returned: 'Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Taxonomy, Version=16.0.0.0, ....' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.'
Diagnoses
The assembly indicated on the error message is not up to date.
Resolution
Updated the SharePoint client components on the K2 server by running sharepointclientcomponents_x64.msi from the Installation folder: K2 for SharePoint 4.6.10 (4.13350.1720.2)InstallationRedistributable then rebooted the server.
