Symptoms


I cannot access a Worklist on K2 Workspace with "Loading" message and blank page.
Nothing has changed on my computer as I can remembered but previously, I can access a Worklist without any problem.

Could you please suggest?

IE 10.0.9200.17607
Update Version: 10.0.35 (KB3124275)

Remark: Other users can access a Worklist properly. (With IE 11)
 

Diagnoses


The K2 workspace url has already been added to compatibility view and trust sites.

IE developer tool console is returning a "Automation server can't create object" error message.
 

Resolution

This particular error message can be resolved by performing the following:

a) In Internet Explorer, go to Tools-->Internet Options

b) Select security tab

c) Click on Trusted Sites

d) Click on Custom Level

e) Ensure that "Initialize and script active x controls is not marked safe for scripting" is enabled - this comes under Activex controls and plug-ins section towards 1/4th of the scroll bar.

f) Click OK, OK.

g) Once this is completed, clear the browser cookies and cache. Close all your browser sessions. Reopen the IE and launch your site.

User is able to view worklist again after performing the above.
