Symptoms

We successfully ran the database consolidation tool on our sql box and now we have run out of disk space because of the backup procedures and what not. Can we now delete the old K2 databases that were put into read-only mode or is there a reason we should keep those around? We can add more disk space to the server, but not until next weekend and we might have serious problems with our K2 environment before then.

Diagnoses

Confirmed with the client that once the databases have been consolidated, they should take a backup of the unconsolidated database and then delete them.

Resolution

Client was able to delete the old databases and clear the space they needed.
