Can`t publish Workflow when a Flexi Task is in it

I have a workflow that looks like this:

The FlexiTask is configured like this, the assigne is cut out but is correctly assigned:

now if i want to publish the workflow i get this error message:

The Server is SharePoint 2016 OnPrem with Nintex Workflow and Forms.

    I am also trying to publish Nintex Workflow with Flexi task in SharePoint 2016 on-prem and I am having the same issue. Please let me how to solve this issue.

    for me it was a sharepoint update which caused this issue.

    could you be more specific about the sharepoint update?

     

    What did you update?

    And maybe from which version.

    There is the same error here with O365. Any idea?
    As soon as add a task to the WF it is not possible to publish that anymore. I just create a new WF include only one step which is a task and could not publish that.
