I have made a view that I cant checkin. K2 says it has a dependency error, yet no errors when I go to edit it.
The view works 100% perfectly.
Resolution
Issue was caused by the fact that the underlying data-sources boind to the View (Rules , Controls or the View itself) were modified without them being unbound from the view first . In some cases this will cause the View to become uneditable as it can no longer consolidate the Schema of the data-source it has with the one available on the server .
There are ways to manually fix these views by downloading their XML and deleting the references from there ... but this is very much dealt with on a per case basis .
To resolve this you will need to revert the SMO's back to their original state , then remove the referenced from the View to these SMO's before making your modifications
