We have set up a dev SharePoint farm and installed Nintex Workflow 2013. We have attached copies of our production content databases so we can test on actual content. We currently don't have SMTP enabled in our dev environment because we don't want all our scheduled workflows sending out emails.

However, we have a need to test email notifications from a manually triggered workflow created in SharePoint Designer. Is there a way for us to enable SMTP and easily disable scheduled workflows from running?

Hi Stacey,

hmm you could temporarily disable the scheduling timer job to prevent schedules from being executed.

Disable the Nintex Workflow Scheduler job

Would that be helpful?

Best regards

Enrico

Thank you for responding, Enrico. We currently have the Nintex Workflow Scheduler job disabled for the web applications in our dev environment, but I'm seeing that scheduled workflows are still running in those web applications. I was really hoping there might be a single setting under Nintex Workflow Management that would disable all scheduled workflows within the farm.

No, there is no such setting as far as I know. :/
