Symptoms

While installation of k2 blackperl client in my local PC, iam getting the prompt to enter License Key, but i dont have any License key to add. There is no selection of Client Tools only, or Full Installation.

 

Diagnoses

Found that a previous copy was installed before but had already been uninstalled. There were some leftover registry keys.
 

Resolution

Delete this registry key, located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > SourceCode resolves this issue.

Do have a backup copy of the registry prior to deleting.
