can i get the typed value of a picker control if it does not result is a match?
 

Diagnoses

I am looking to direct the user to a create panel if their search does not find a match when using the Picker control. I can get to my create panel but do not see a why to access the typed value that the user entered into the picker control.

I am using the when Picker is Populated rule and checking to see if the Picker contains a value to determine if the searched text was matched.

 

Resolution 

Download the autocomplete project via the community market place or upgrade to 4.6.9 which has the autocomplete control OOB with the functionality needed.
