Has anyone seen the following?

I have a customer who is having problems with the blackpoint (update 580) K2 Web Designer in their production environment which has K2 and SharePoint on the same server.  The web designer gives an “Object reference is not set to an object” after the “Build Complete” step.

No errors in the SharePoint log

Looking in the Event log it shows:

Unable to connect publishing custom string handler for output caching.  IIS Instance Id is '802187289', Url is 'http://intranet/_layouts/WebDesigner/FrameworkInterop.asmx'.

I did find references to this SharePoint error when googling but I don’t see how it applies to K2 blackpoint I haven’t needed to apply this with other installations. Even so I’m not sure which, if any, K2 web.config I’d even need to change

In the K2 log it gives an error about the SharePoint application pool account not having Administrator rights however, that account has been give Administrator rights in K2 at the Server level and still gets the above below error.

Thanks Tim for posting this. I just came here to post it :)

I'm wondering if the rights it is looking for is not within K2 itself but some resource on the machine it needs to access. We have gone and given the account the right access to specific folders in the documentation though.
