Bad Performance After K2 Servie Restart
 

Diagnoses


We seem to have bad performance in K2 after a restart of K2 Service. We stopped the K2 Service and IIS for three hours and restarted both after our deployment was completed. Our business partners are complaining now that reassignment through K2 API or through Workspace are taking a long time to finish.
 

Resolution

We identified the cause of the high cpu was from certain workflows firing cyclic events. Identified those processes by running select * from k2.server.procinst where Status = 1
