Hello,

I have a question about Nintex Forms 2013.
I create a frame and inside this frame I create a formula field. On both elements I set the option to adjust the size on runtime to yes, but there is always a scrollbar.

Do you have an idea, how I can avoid the scrollbar and get a dynamic size depending to the text?

Thanks for your help!

Best regards,

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

is your control nested into another control? Could you check the configuration too? If the formula is outside of the nested control, does it expand as you expect?

Kind regards,

Enrico

Hello,

You could try making the panels that the controls are nested in larger to begin with.  This would allow you to avoid scrolling.  Something is saying "Hey I don't have enough space to render in view, so give me scrollbars."    You could probably use css to hide the bars, but then anything literally out of view wouldn't be able to be gotten to.

Hi Enrico,

yes it's nested in a frame. But both elements (frame + formula) had the setting "adjust the size on runtime" at "yes". If I use the formula field outside the frame it's the same. It doesn't expand, too.

Best regards,

Patrick

Hi Mike,

yes I can make the panels larger, but if I had content which is smaller, I had a big gap between the next frame. So this is not a solution. Unable the scrollbars is also no solution because the content need to be visible completely. I need a solution which makes the size dynamic depending to the content.

Best regards,

Patrick
