A Flexi task can only be escalated once automatically.
We need to escalate a flexi task as follow and it must happen automatically:
1st Person - after 1st day (If no response)
2nd Person - after 2nd day (if no response
3rd Person - after 3rd day
What is the best way to implement such functionality ?

Have you tried using the Escalation type "Complete task"? Include the Other branch and nest another flexi task inside that branch that gets assigned to the 2nd person. You can repeat that as many times as necessary.
My only concern is if I introduce more legs in my Flexi Tasks my workflow will be getting way to big. I already have 8 Flexi Tasks each with 3 branches each.
Anyway, will give it a try.
