I'm having a problem resolving an Exchange issue in K2. As of the beginning of the month everything was working fine. Our team was away during the government shutdown and when we returned we started seeing an error in the server error logs stating the Autodiscover service can not be located. As far as we've been able to tell, nothing has changed, other than the liklihood that the servers were shut down or at some point shut down and restarted. We've re-run the Setup Manager and checked all of the related configurations, which seem to be all working. All of the tests are successful in the wizard, most relevant being the tests of the EWS URL and other configurations on the exchange portion of the setup. However we are still seeing the error. There are a couple different stack traces in errors related to Autodiscover, as follows:

61012 Exception from message source [email address]: Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.AutodiscoverLocalException: The Autodiscover service couldn't be located. Server stack trace: at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Autodiscover.AutodiscoverService.InternalGetLegacyUserSettings[TSettings](String emailAddress, List`1 redirectionEmailAddresses, Int32& currentHop) at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Autodiscover.AutodiscoverService.GetLegacyUserSettings[TSettings](String emailAddress) at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Autodiscover.AutodiscoverService.InternalGetLegacyUserSettings(String emailAddress, List`1 requestedSettings) at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Autodiscover.AutodiscoverService.GetUserSettings(String userSmtpAddress, UserSettingName[] userSettingNames) at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ExchangeService.GetAutodiscoverUrl(String emailAddress, ExchangeVersion requestedServerVersion, AutodiscoverRedirectionUrlValidationCallback validateRedirectionUrlCallback) at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ExchangeService.AutodiscoverUrl(String emailAddress, AutodiscoverRedirectionUrlValidationCallback validateRedirectionUrlCallback) at SourceCode.MessageBus.Ews.ExchangeAutodiscover.Autodiscover(String emailAddress, String username, String password) at System.Runtime.Remoting.Messaging.StackBuilderSink._PrivateProcessMessage(IntPtr md, Object[] args, Object server, Int32 methodPtr, Boolean fExecuteInContext, Object[]& outArgs) at System.Runtime.Remoting.Messaging.StackBuilderSink.PrivateProcessMessage(RuntimeMethodHandle md, Object[] args, Object server, Int32 methodPtr, Boolean fExecuteInContext, Object[]& outArgs) at System.Runtime.Remoting.Messaging.StackBuilderSink.AsyncProcessMessage(IMessage msg, IMessageSink replySink) Exception rethrown at [0]: at System.Runtime.Remoting.Proxies.RealProxy.EndInvokeHelper(Message reqMsg, Boolean bProxyCase) at System.Runtime.Remoting.Proxies.RemotingProxy.Invoke(Object NotUsed, MessageData& msgData) at System.Func`4.EndInvoke(IAsyncResult result) at SourceCode.MessageBus.Ews.ExchangeWebServicesConnection.EndAutodiscover(IAsyncResult result)

Any suggestions?

I can tell you from working with other Exchange stuff, its most likely an issue with Exchange, not K2.  Verify your Exchange autodiscovery service is publishing the correct URLs to access Exchange from all locations.  Be aware that I've seen Exchange give back different URLs depending on the requesting context on the same machine (e.g. web site vs. console app vs. service).
