Authentication issues - When trying to set up the connection settings.
 

Diagnoses

When you are trying to set up the connection settings in K2 studio on your own machine on a separate domain to the K2 server you get the following error:

Authentication With Server Failed : Requested
Authentication Provider not hosted



 

Resolution

After further review it appears that the client here was trying to use K2 studio on another domain which was not synced up with the K2 servers domain, there were no trusts in place. The client is now using K2 studio on the K2 server to deploy the workflows. They have confirmed this via email that all is good and are happy to close the call.


Please make sure that the domain you are deploying from has the correct trusts in place in regards to their active directory domain trusts as this the error you will get if otherwise. The only other recommendation would be to use K2 studio on the K2 server or on the server that you would like to deploy to itself.
