Symptoms
The user's Appit instance was running at a crawl with views and forms taking minutes to load/render.
Diagnoses
The user was using a dropdown list control that was connected to a SmartObject that was pulling in roughly five thousand items.
Resolution
By switching the dropdown control to a lookup control the user was able to effectively search up and serve the data required and forgo the need to include a five thousand item list. This switch freed up system resource and as a consequence the issue of sluggishness has been sort.
