Symptoms

I noticed that the new version of SmartForms has an option on the Forms properties to allow Anonymous Access. The UAT environment already has an anonymous runtime site setup in IIS. After testing the Anonymous Access check box in the Advanced section on the form's properties, this seems to have no effect on whether or not the form can be accessed through the runtime. So my question is, what does this Anonymous Access property do?

Diagnoses

This appears to be a problem with updating to the new version and out of date documentation.

 

Resolution

The documentation was not updated correctly and it was showing the need to use an anonymous site. With 4.6.9 the site is no longer needed and using the check box is enough. The pages have ben updated with the correct information and with the proper format.
