Symptoms

When adding K2 Appit to a site, it shows waiting but never returns. Tried refreshing th apge and that did not do anything.

When reviewing the Developer Tool, the following error was found:
https://{SPSiteURL}/K2AppitforSharePoint/Pages/undefined/_api/web/lists/getbytitle('undefined')/items(undefined)
404 Not Found
 

Diagnoses

This behavior will occur if the K2 App Settings hidden SP list(K2 setting page) is corrupted.
When this happens you cannot run the Appit registration wizard successfully. The option for "Next" on the registration screen will be grayed out on the "Connect me to my K2 Appit environment" step.

 

Resolution

Delete the K2 settings page for the SharePoint site(i.e. the K2 settings SP hidden list) and re-run the registration wizard on the site to re-create it.
