Hi,

I want to understand how K2 Resolves the AD Users:

We have custom database which stores all the users sync with AD.

In K2 Activity Destinations we have following:

  - Plan just once

  - Number of slots created =1

  - Resolve all roles and groups to users

And in Destination Set we are setting a SmartObject returning comma separated string of users queried from custom database mentioned above. All users are from same domain.

The error that I am facing is: "There must be at least one destination for the activity containing client event".

When I explicitly search users in K2 user search I can find each and every user.

I manually assign comma separated list of users in destinations then also I faced same error.

But when I granted access to these users on my process (in management console) then it started working.

So my question is - Does it mean that we have to manually give access on process to all the users prior using them in activity destinations dynamically?

Again, our users in database are updated daily by external utility so I am doubtful if we will be able to  give access on process to all the dynamic users.

Please, provide your suggestions.

Thanks in Advance.

Yes, that is what that means.  A user must have rights to a process before they can participate in the process.
