I have a workflow that each activity must wait any external response to go to the next activity. But i don't know which is the correct solution for do it.

As far as waiting for an external response to move to the next activity you are probably going to want to look into using an Asynchronous Server Event. A good run down of this procedure can be seen in this KB article http://help.k2.com/kb000272.
Other options could vary depending on what type of external response you are waiting for. You are most likely going to be looking into a preceding rule for the activity that you want to start after the external event occurs.
