Hello Friends, I got a new problem. I have a Datafield prepopulated. And in one of my sharepoint workflow integration client wizard, I have opted for Advance Form to add an additional field on my task form. Further in a line rule I check whether the prepopulated datafield and the entered value for this task form field match or not, so if it matches, workflow proceeds further, otherwise the status of the activity remains as opened and not completed which is perfectly right. Now, after this when I try to again enter the appropriate value, it should tally and should proceed further. But still it shows me the status as open. However, if I enter the correct value at first shot, the value matches and proceeds to the next activity. Is there any issue with this open status of activity, or this is a bug with K2 blackpoint. Plz help.

This was just an example, but in most of the cases even if you perform an action on an activity, the task status doesn't change to completed, it says OPEN, and also doesn't allow the user to take the action again, since the action has already been taken. The only option is to refresh the page again and again. But no change, strange behaviour, can anybody from K2 please help me on this!!


This OPEN status issue is rediculous. It happens often, even in a simple workflow process. The task status changes to Open instead of Completed, and then we cannot do anything with that task, and the workflow stops in the midway. Has anybody came through such an annoying situation in K2 Blackpoint workflow process. Please Help.


I would suggest logging a support ticket on this with the details of your issue.  The support team would be better equipped to track down the issue.
