Symptoms

We have a workflow process set up where there is an activity with a destination user that is set to Active Directory Domain Users group. If I try to action this activity using a smartforms form, I get a popup message box saying "Action ____ not found" for all of the actions that the activity has. If I then manually give my Windows account Allow rights to the activity's actions using the Action Rights page in the K2 Management Console I am able to successfully action the workflow. Why is it necessary to do this though? Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Diagnoses

Destination User was not setup correctly for the Smartforms client event.

Resolution

The Activity’s Destination User was set to AD Domain Users group but the Type was set to User. Issue was resolved after changing to Group type.
