Hello,

We are seeing an error on SharePoint 2010 after updating to Nintex Workflow 2010 2.4.7.0. We have several existing workflows that were previously working that are no longer functioning immediately after the update. These workflows are now failing out with a correlation ID. In looking at the ULS logs, it appears the error is related to the user lookup in the function: GetUserDisplayName.

Full ULS text for the line below.

An error occurred rendering this summary.: System.Threading.ThreadAbortException. An error occurred rendering this summary.: System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted at Nintex.Workflow.Common.UserUtil.GetUserDisplayName(ActivityContext context, String userId) at Nintex.Workflow.Activities.Adapters.NWSendMessageAdapter.BuildSummary(ActivityContext context) at Nintex.Workflow.Activities.Adapters.GenericRenderingAction.Nintex.Workflow.Activities.Adapters.IActivityPreview.Render(ActivityContext context, HtmlGenericControl[]& childActivityZones) (Build:2470)

Anyone else running into this issue? Hoping there is a workaround we can implement as our users have critical need for these workflows to be functional.

Thank you,

Joseph Irvine

Yes, We seeing the same issue.  It would be nice is Nintex works to resolve this issue.  Nintex Support would be greatly appreciated as this is seriously affecting my customers.
