Upgrade Existing Environment to 4.6

Hi All,


We are currently running on version 4.8210.3.565 (0807). And now we are planing to upgrade to the latest version. Please can anyone share your experience if you have already upgraded your environments to K2 4.6. 


Mainly, following are the questions that we have.


Do we have to migrate the
existing live processes to new version? If so what is the procedure and the
impact it will have? 


Are there any significant changes to the APIs? We are mainly using the client
API and management API (via an in-house built wrapper web service).

The API is always comatible with the older versions. You dont need to migrate the live instances as a separate task. All the workflow state is stored in the database and after upgrade, they will remain in that state.


My recommendation would be to test this upgrade first in a dev environment so that you are happy with the results.
