K2 Workspace Error

I'm experiencing an error on the K2 Workspace Page and I'm unable to refresh the worklist.

 In the bottom left hand of the browser is showing a yellow exclamamtion for javascript error:

Line: 1093

Char: 1

Error: Object Expected

Code: 0

URL: http://blackpearl/workspace/TaskListControl/WorkList.aspx

 

Any idea what could be the issue?

I suspect special characters are causing the problem in the Javascript. Could you check to see if there are any special characters in the Folio, Process Name, Activity Name, etc. You could probably check this through the Management Console or via the Standard Reports e.g. Process Overview.

Hmm but there are no processes in the worklist...so it should be related to the folio, process name etc right?

Perhaps you could try an IIS reset and refresh the page. Please make sure that you have the latest K2 updates installed. The latest update available is K2 blackpearl 0807 Update (4.8210.2.370).


If this does not resolve the issue then I would suggest that you please log a support ticket through the K2 Partner and Customer portal (http://portal.k2workflow.com)

Hmm, just some ideas here.


Is this just happening on your machine or on multiple machines? i.e. could it be a client specific issue or server installation issue.


Also what IE version are you using (did you try with the latest IE7 version) and are there any IE policies being applied to your browser?  Did you try adding the site to the Intranet Zone or Trusted Sites zone?

I too am experiencing this issue even though we have added the workspace to the Trusted sites list.  Have you seen a resolution to this?

If you have recently upgraded blackpearl, make sure you clear your browser cache so the latest version of the scripts is pulled from the server.
