Can I send an email from SmartForm?

Is there a way to send an email from a SmartForm? 

 

We have a need to send an email when a user clicks the button to change the data on a SmartForm.  I'm wondering if this is possible.  We could have the SmartForm start a workflow that sends an email.  But I'm wondering if there is a better way.

 

Thanks for any suggestions you have.

There is a 'Send an e-mail' action, is this what you are searching for?

Thanks.  But now I feel stupid.  I was looking for an email control to drag on the form.
