What would make the To and From fields stop looking at the Active Directory?

Hello,

It worked yesterday and today it doesn't.  I have several workflows that are manually started.  When I click the address book and type in Caldwell, Suzanne it doesn't find me or anyone else.  I can type in my user ID (NTID) and click on check names and there I am.

Also, we are using our team mailbox address in the From field and that no longer works. Example I click on the address book and type in etrm operations normally etrmoperations@xxx.com would appear, not any longer.

How do I fix this?

Hi Suzanne,

does this problem only occur in nintex applications or in other applications (SP-Peoplepicker, Outlook) as well?

Did you or your colleagues change anything AD-related in your environment?

Can you make sure your SharePoint-UserService is up and running correctly?

Sounds like contacting nintex support wouldn't be such a  bad idea. I've never heard of this problem before.

It is only in the Nintex application.  I tired to open a ticket and received the message " Unauthorized Access to this place is restricted".
