Hi Chiru,
OOB usually means Out Of The Box. So i would assume that OOB Control = Out Of the Box Control that is being shipped with the product.

An OOB control (such as a drop-down list, choice, worklist, etc.) is usually a control that comes with the K2 Smartforms installation or with the K2 Smartforms Control Pack installation.
OOB controls are usually automatically installed with the K2 products; VS a control that you would develop yourself or find on the K2 Community site (in which you will have to manually register).

To be clear, the OOB Controls can be found after installation. Open the K2 Designer and when building the forms or views, the control are listed. You do not have to configure it manually.
