Is there a threshold on the flexi task action in the nintex workflows?

I have a Nintex 2013 workflow running on a SP2010 Doc library which runs once an item is created.

The WF is huge with 2 state machines and 15 Flexi tasks in total. Does this slow down the performance by any chance?

Is there a threshold on the number of flexis a WF can have?

I am also not getting the "WF published" dialog as it displays the publishing dialog indefinitely.

But if i refresh after a couple of minutes the changes i did would have been published.

Hi ,

The size of a workflow is critical to both the running and development process. One recommendation is that the workflows be kept to under 500KB, but that's not to say that you can't have some over that, but you will start to see issues.

Please refer to the excellent article by Aaron Labiosa‌ here:

It is better to break up the workflow into parts and drive the logic from a Master workflow that calls the sub workflows appropriately. More work, but more flexibility too.

Cheers,

Mark
