Adding sql and web service

Hi,

 

I just started with K2 workflows for sharepoint and I was wondering if there is somewhere to have more info on how to create a sql connection and be able to query it from the workflow. Also same thing for calling a web service and receiving an XML.

Hi cogan,

 

You might want to check out a few online tutorials. (https://help.k2.com/onlinetraining/tutorials/default.htm). Under the Advanced Concepts topic, you'll find step-by-step instructions for adding service instances (which you can use to connect to SQL), as well as how to view XML (look at the SmartObject sub-heading). There are also some related topics under the Developer Tutorials topic.

 

If I am understanding your question correctly, I think you'll find these resources very helpful!

Actually I looked at these tutorials, however, I couldn't find how to use these smartobjects in SharePoint workflows as it doesn't list them for me. (however I can see these smartobjects on K2 Studio)
