Send Escalation Email to a Role

After browsing the forums it does not appear that it is possible to send an escalation email to a role. I have one role as my destination user and if no one in that role responds to the task, after escalation period passes, then an email is sent to another role. My preference is to do it this way so that I can keep separate accounts between dev and production. I do not want to have to change the groups/users that emails are sent to just because I am deploying to a different environment.


 


Is there another way to send an escalation email to a group of users that I can assign on the environment level?
