Documentation for smartobject API - dead link

I am attempting to understand how the smartobjects API works, and what I can do with it. I've been reading and following the documentation found here, but on step 3 the only reference given is a link to a postman collection to explore, however the link ends up at a 404 not found page.

How else can I learn about sending parameters to my smartobjects? I haven't been able to find a good resource.
