"[Form Name]' Form is referencing the 'Control with Guid: [GUID] that could not be found"

 

Symptoms

Issue:
The client migrated from 4.6.11 - 4.7. When they try to create a new package, they get the following errors in PandD and Smartforms:
"[Form Name]' Form is referencing the 'Control with Guid: [GUID] that could not be found"

The developers identified an issue in the product, and fixed the issue in the Cumulative Update (CU) and Fix Pack (FP7).
