I am using sharepoint On-prem 2016. I have disabled few actions in the workflow that are disabled, when I run the workflow, it gives “coercion failed unable to transfer input lookp data onto requested type” error. I then deleted the disabled actions and it worked fine without any errors. But want to know why does it happen?

Hi,

What you are seeing is not a common issue but I have seen it before.

If you are using the latest build of Nintex workflow for 2016 and you can replicate this issue with a new workflow, I recommend contacting Nintex support to have the issue investigated.

Disabling an action is great for testing but I do not recommend doing so in a production workflow for the reasons you have encountered.
