The QuickPart in my Word document has a field for Party1Abbreviation but the Party1 value in Create Item is inserting itself into the Party1Abbreviation field.

How do I resolve?

e.g.

This is a sales contract between [Party1] herein referred to as [Party1Abbreviation]….

What I Want

This is a sales contract between International Business Machines herein referred to as IBM...

What I’m Getting

This is a sales contract between International Business Machines here referred to as International Business Machines…

Hi @NotSure,

Are you sure it’s the Create Item action that is inserting the Party1 value into the Party1Abbreviation field and not the quickpart?  Do you see the same issue if you use a SharePoint Designer workflow?

@SimonMuntz I resolved the issue. The Quickpart display Party1 where it should have displayed Party1Abbreviation. Operator error I guess although I could have sworn I applied the correct Party1Abbreviation the first time in the Quickpart.
