Hi,

We are planning to upgrade Project Server 2013 to Project Server 2016.

We are using Nintex workflow for SharePoint 2013 and Project Server 2013 and we need to upgrade it also to 2016.

We are looking to continue using Nintex workflows in SharePoint 2016. As Nintex workflow actions are not available for Project Server 2016.

What is the alternate option we’ve achieve the functionality in Nintex 2016 that was available in Nintex 2013 for Project Server actions like Read Project Property, Set Project Stage etc.

Hi,

I am not aware of any alternative for the actions you require.

The only thing I can think of is that you may want to checkout the SDK and see if you can take the existing action from your 2013 environment and import it into your 2016 environemnt.

Thanks @SimonMuntz for your response.

As per your suggestion, I tried to create custom action for Nintex 2016 using Visual Studio 2019. As the documentation is provided for 2013 only I am facing some issue.

Steps Tried –

Created the blank custom Action From Visual Studio 2019 with 2013 Activity and Adapter connector Deployed it to SharePoint 2016 Environment. But Getting 500 and 401 errors and The workflow File Path is accessible from 15 hive instead of 16 hive. Below is the error screen print.

Hi,

I am sorry but I am not able to help any further as I am not a coder. The SDK is provided as is and is not supported by Nintex.
