Issue Description

An error occurs when performing any of the following:

  • When opening SmartForm links directly from Microsoft Applications such as Word.
  • When opening K2 for SharePoint URLs which use SmartForms for the first time.
  • When opening the Worklist Web Part for the first time.

Error Message:

The following error occurs:

Specified Issuer could not be found. For more information see http://k2.com/BXEQPJB
 More Details Please check IssuerName in the web.config and ensure that the configuration has been setup appropriately.”

Resolution

The fix is available in:

  1. Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
  2. Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
  3. Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
