Hi,

We are planning to do a migration of SP 2016 Nintex forms and workflows to NWC. I have a few questions below.

Could you please let us know what are tools available for the inventory?

Does Nintex have tools to migrate directly from SP 2016 Nintex workflows to NWC?

What are the major actions missing in NWC compared to SP 2016 Nintex forms and workflows?

Best Regards,

Devendra

Hi @DevVelegandla

no porblem, let me try to answer this question.

Regards the first question, please have a look at these tools form our gallery, that may help:

Nintex Workflow Cloud Web Part Solution Starter:

The Nintex Solution Starter is a web part components that will enable you to extend your Nintex Workflow Cloud forms and tasks into a SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019, or SharePoint 2016 environment. Through the self-contained web part solution, SharePoint administrators can add the web parts to any SharePoint Online tenant or on-premises SharePoint farm with minimal effort, and expose Nintex Workflow Cloud content directly to SharePoint users. Designed using the Nintex Workflow Cloud public developer API, this Solution Starter can also be customized or expanded on to meet the individual customers different use cases.

SharePoint 2010/2013 Converter

https://gallery.nintex.com/t/sharepoint-2010/2013-converter?tenant=null

The SharePoint 2010/2013 Workflow Converter (beta), was created to assist users in moving from SharePoint Designer 2010 and 2013 workflows, to Nintex Workflow.

This is not a full converter. It takes the structure of a SharePoint Designer workflow and creates the corresponding Nintex version of it. It does not pull across the different settings for each of the actions in the workflow.

If you have many workflows in SharePoint Designer, or large workflows, this will help you get started with your move to Nintex. You will not need to start with a blank canvas. Instead, you will be provided with the workflow design, created for you, so now you can focus on filling in all the action configurations.

To your Question: Does Nintex have tools to migrate directly from SP 2016 Nintex workflows to NWC?

At the moment not, but it is something we are currently working on.
